About The LeafHack Collective

Built by people who understand.
Designed for those ready to move forward.

LeafHack is more than a tech platform. We’re a collective of people—organizers, educators, justice-involved individuals, and youth researchers—who have personal ties to incarceration and the reentry journey. Some of us have experienced it firsthand. Others have walked alongside loved ones navigating it. What we share is a commitment: to build tools that make second chances easier, more human, and more possible.

Who We Are

The LeafHack Collective includes:

  • Johnny Waller (CEO/Founder, Clear Tomorrow KC) – Kansas City advocate, entrepreneur, and justice-impacted leader

  • Marva Moses (Executive Director/Founder, Hope Hangout) – Kansas City, MO community organizer and youth reentry support advocate

  • Moses Wyatt (CEO/Founder, The Jegna Klub) - Kansas City, KS community organizer and youth reentry support advocate

  • Tiffany Dixon, EdD – Kansas City educator and reentry ally

  • Youth Intern Research and Development Team – A group of high school and college interns who support development and interview justice-involved individuals to understand their needs and barriers. Some youth are justice-involved and some are not. Their privacy is our top priority.

Together, we’ve built LeafHack to fill a gap: smart, accessible tools that help people create the letters, documents, and plans they need to rebuild life after incarceration.

100% Profits Go Back to the Community

Every dollar earned from paid access to LeafHack is donated to organizations supporting youth and adults impacted by incarceration. We do not keep any personal profit.

All LeafHack accounting is shared openly with our collective members, and we maintain full transparency across the platform.

Can’t afford the subscription? We've partnered with local and national organizations who offer free access through their programs. Contact any of the LeafHack Collective members to get connected.

Why We Exist:
The Numbers Behind Our Mission

  • 1 in 2 U.S. adults has had an immediate family member incarcerated at some point.

  • 70 million people in the U.S. have a criminal record—more than those with college degrees.

  • More than 600,000 people are released from state and federal prisons each year, but few receive structured reentry support.

  • Youth in juvenile detention are 39% more likely to drop out of high school after release.

  • Formerly incarcerated individuals face a 27% unemployment rate - nearly five times the national average.

Our Collective Purpose

We believe access to opportunity shouldn't be blocked by paperwork, silence, or stigma. That’s why we built LeafHack - to help individuals advocate for themselves, get the support they deserve, and rebuild relationships, jobs, housing, and dignity.

We’re here for families, for neighborhoods, for those who’ve served time, and for the systems that need change.

This isn’t charity—it’s repair. And we’re just getting started.
